French Pin in Gold

I have micro locs and haven’t seen a single girl with locs use a French hair pin so I was super nervous about purchasing on for fear they wouldn’t work on my hair. I’m so glad I went for it anyways and purchase it!! I get so many compliments when I wear it. It holds my hair up perfectly without pulling on my locs. So I’m here to let the micro loced girlies know this works for us too! Would love to see different hair textures shown hearing it

This French pin is perfect for a half-up/half-down look if you have lots of hair! My hair is longer (mid-thigh) and coarse, and the heavier material (I purchased the silver alloy metal option) is perfect for keeping my hair in place; however, I do wish there were a version of this pin, just slightly longer, to hold up all of my hair! Definitely a great investment, regardless—the quality is unmatched! No complaints here.

I love all the branding that KOV Essentials does; I've had my eye on this pin and the hair brush for a while now and finally caved in. The pin is a lightweight, sturdy plastic. At first I wasn't skeptical about the quality after realizing it was made of plastic, as I have super thick asian hair (and a LOT of it) and a history of my hair accesories breaking and snapping on me. I have a feeling this french pin will last a while (... but time will tell). The black colour is solid and even throughout, and the cut is smooth from manufacturing- quite impressed. I've put my hair up twice now and it is able to hold my butt-length hair up in a sleek updo for hours. It is comfortable enough to sleep in and stays reasonably place throughout the night without tugging or pulling at my hair. I would recommend, this. 4.5 stars from me.

It's good quality, yet I am still having difficulty making a brioche bun with it. I need more time to do it properly. It is pretty good for thick hair. I was a bit worried about whether it would work on Asian thick, coarse hair.
